DIDYMOS was founded in 1972 as the first babywearing company, when Erika Hoffmann, after the birth of her twins, sought a practical way to manage daily life while maintaining closeness with her four children. A wrap from South America, in which she carried her children, was her solution. The idea quickly inspired other families and gained support from midwives and pediatricians – laying the foundation for the return of babywearing in our society. Today, DIDYMOS remains a family business with a clear focus on quality and sustainability. Our portfolio has steadily grown and continues to evolve – from baby wraps to carriers and the babywearing school, everything is included.
