What is the difference between a baby wrap and a baby carrier?
A baby wrap is a long piece of fabric that you always tie and knot in one way or another. It is very flexible and individual: you can use many different wrapping methods on your front, on your hip or on your back. Correctly tied, your child automatically takes up the anatomically correct spread-squat position, and your child's back can round nicely.
From what age can my child go in a baby wrap?
You can carry your child in both a woven and an elastic wrap from birth. Choose a suitable wrapping method and make sure the airways are always clear. You can find more information about safe and healthy babywearing here. Especially in the first weeks after birth, however, you should go easy on yourself and your pelvic floor and, whenever possible, hand over carrying to other caregivers.
Which baby wrap size do I need?
Our DIDYMOS baby wraps come in different sizes, from very short to very long. In principle, you can carry your child with any wrap length. Which size you need depends on the combination of your preferred wrapping method, your height and your clothing size.
