Woven Wraps - Jacquard

Kids love pinwheels and the classic pinwheel design has been a favourite with quilters for decades. Inspired by Maggie from Elm Baby we decided to create a pinwheel pattern for our baby wraps. And it really looks great, so handsomely and colourfully woven into the fabric featuring the geometric design in white, yellow, red and turquoise. We called it Zephyr, after the ancient Greek god of the mild west winds. In any case a versatile wrap, fully adjustable and suited to carry your baby or toddler comfortably in winter as well as in spring. Of medium weight and woven in 100% organic cotton, the fabric is soft and smooth and has inherent diagonal stretch allowing for the wrap to easily mold to the wearer and baby with optimal comfort while supporting the baby all over evenly.

The anthracite and white duo is a classic colour combination that emanates style and chic. In this Metro model the duo interweaves to highlight the classiness of the graphic design. Woven all in organic cotton and of medium weight, the Jacquard woven fabric is soft and moldable from the beginning. With its diagonal stretch that is typical for all Didymos wrap fabrics, it is comfortable to manipulate and adapts to all needs and carries. Sparkle Gold – lighter, airier, summer-ready The popular Sparkle pattern in gold is back – inspired by the 2019 edition, now in a noticeably lighter quality. The linen content provides a fresh feel, the reduced weight makes wrapping easier – perfect for warm days and for anyone looking for an elegant, summer-light wrap.

A real beauty, our Mosaic pattern stands for the multitude of inspirations, pictures, impressions we get from our dear customers and babywearing families. It is an assemblage of all that, symbolizing the colourful, multi-faceted, complex, fascinating world of babywearing. The Mosaic pattern is Jacquard woven and is realized in an artful interplay of anthracite warp yarns and colourful weft yarns in cyclamen, ocean blue and bright yellow. Newborns will love to be held and rocked in this soft and cushy fabric made from 100% pure organic cotton. The good medium weight makes it very supportive also for toddlers. Wrap width: Sizes 2 - 8 are available also in an extra wide version (width abt. 80cm).

Still deep in winter and longing for spring, we wish you will love the fresh colours of our new Ada release. The emerald cotton warp harmoniously interweaves with weft yarns alternating from dark blue to turquoise, to light green and bright yellow, a gradient that makes the pattern shine in fresh hues of blue, green and yellow. The Ada model is made from a Jacquard woven cotton fabric featuring the rich variety of traditional European weave patterns. Lightweight. the fabric is fluffy and soft, yet has a slightly textured surface that is grippy enought to hold knots in place and allows for tying exact and supportive carries. .

Baroque is omnipresent in Ludwigsburg, the hometown of DIDYMOS -  in its places and sumptuous palaces and gardens. Our model Ludwig is a tribute to this special flair. The opulent design reminds of the extravagant interior of the royal residential palace. An acqua coloured cotton warp artfully interweaves with cinnamon yarns to create a rich pattern that combines harmony and baroque exuberance. A wrap that captivates the senses by its colours and its subtle shine. The lightweight wrap is soft yet has a slightly grippy surface. Featuring a diagonal stretch that is characteristic for all Didymos wraps, it is comfortable to handle and to tie. All carries stay in place and a small newborn can cuddle up against mom or dad for hours whereas an older child will find enough support to enjoy a safe ride on your hip or back.

Azulejos are everywhere in Portugal. Inspired by the mosaic-like Azulejo tilework with its floral, curved and geometric elements, our pattern is realized by the interplay of natural cotton used for the warp and undyed linen for the weft. The nature of this weave creates a shimmering effect and a slightly grippy fabric texture. Irregularities are typical for  linen yarns. These are visible in blend fabrics and add an individual touch. A complex Jacquard weave, the pattern is the same on both fabric sides, the colour palette is reversed. The fabric is durable and has optimal diagonal stretch allowing  for comfortable and secure wearing of newborn and toddlers as well. A re-weave of the old Mystic 1975 Turquoise in a lightweight hemp blend.  The petrol coloured cotton warp combines with natural hemp and turquoise cotton  to create the  "mystic" touch of this wrap.Jacquard woven, the patterns are the same on both fabric sides, he colours are reversed.The fabric is particularly tear-proof and durable and has optimal diagonal stretch.
