Kit tested our Bum Bag Ludwig

This is an incredibly useful accessory for babywearers on the go! I wish I had tried one sooner because it’s been a game changer for me. Convenient for the essentials (wallet, phone, keys, mask), having a small purse/clutch-like option that can be worn off the shoulders is a total win for babywearing. No need to over stuff my pockets: not only does it have a convenient clip on the inside but there’s also a slim pocket divider on the back panel of the bag. It’s not only a great babywearing accessory but also a fun way to try out new fabrics without plunging into the investment of a full carrier.

I am still figuring out how to manage the extra webbing from tightening, as it often slides along the waist webbing, but that aspect hasn’t been a show stopper.

The specific design of Ludwig is such an elegant one that shimmers in a graceful, intriguing way. A tribute to Ludwigsburg, the hometown of Didymos, it really does evoke the beauty from afar and intricacy of design upclose that is often seen in Baroque style art and architecture. I enjoy how different it appears far away vs up close, and it’s special to see the company’s connection to it’s hometown expressed in woven art.
