Kit from IG @babywearingkit tested our New Decade Ring Sling
This has been both my first linen blend and fringe ring sling, and it’s been a blast! The linen-cotton woven material is so thin and strong. It’s been terrific for my 2 month old (14lb/6.3kg) baby, my 22 month old (26lb/11.8kg) toddler, and back carries with my 3 year old (36lb/16kg). I love how cool to touch it feels, and is breaking in so quickly. I’m sure with a few more irons/braidings, this will reach that Didymos-level buttery softness. The wonderful part about this blend in a ring sling is that a lot of the breaking process happens just by the everyday use of pulling the fabric through the rings. The color choice is a nice, understated gray/brown with little glimpses of lighter browns/peach through the warp. The Prima design provides the right balance of grip. I love that the fringe is both a low-maintenance way for babywearers to try out fringe on their carriers and a nod to the style of the ‘70s, when Didymos first began.
