Metro Silk replaces Metro Tussah and is a must for all who love the modern style and design of our Metro models.
Definitively classy and appealing in this shimmering cotton-silk blend woven from anthracite cotton combined with raw white silk that comes as Schappe silk. Schappe silk is spun silk and has fine, natural slubs and nubs giving the fabric a unique texture and feel.
Lightweight, the fabric is soft to the touch, yet robust and tear-proof. The slightly grippy texture and the inherent diagonal stretch make a perfectly moldable wrap, easy to tie a perfect and precise fit and to hold knots in place even after prolonged carrying.
Silk blends are breathable and moisture and temperature regulating which makes them ideal summer wraps.
NOTE: Silk blend wraps will shrink in width a bit more than pure cotton or cotton/linen/hemp fabrics. Ironing after washing will "bring back" some width.

Das Metro ist eines unser liebsten Tragetücher. Es ist so dünn weich und kuschelig und grad im Sommer oder mit Neugeborenen einfach top. Die Kombination von Baumwolle und Seide gleicht im Sommer perfekt die Temperatur aus und lässt sich zudem auch perfekt straffen. Es bindet sich auch mit Kleinkind toll und vom tragen ganz zu schweigen. Hier heiß geliebt und nicht mehr weg zu denken. Der Glanz macht es zudem sehr edel und dadurch auch für festliche Anlässe sehr passend. Hach was soll ich sagen wir lieben es einfach.

Metro is a perfect wrap. It carried my boy from birth till his 2nd birthday. Thin, but strong. Easy to work with and supportive enough in two layers for 14kg boy. I would definitely recommend it. <3
